On behalf of Transport Infrastructure Ireland, Quality Asphalt was appointed by ARUP to update Series 900 of the Specification for Road Works and Notes for Guidance.
The scope included a total reorganisation of the Specification to provide a more user-friendly layout. Documents subsequently renamed CC-SPW-00900 and CC-GSW-00900. This work led to additional commissions to update Series 000, 100 & 700.
On behalf of Transport Infrastructure Ireland, we were appointed by ARUP to assist with the development of Interim Technical Advice, AM-PAV-06059, for Crack Sealing and Joint Repair Systems. The scope included evaluating products and test methods and developing a product approval methodology.
On behalf of Transport Infrastructure Ireland, Quality Asphalt was appointed by ARUP to assist with the development of two publications, DN-PAV-03074 and DN-PAV-03075, for the design and approval of Bituminous Mixtures, Surface Treatments and Miscellaneous Products and Processes.
On behalf of Transport Infrastructure Ireland, we were appointed by Pavement Management Services to develop a new document entitled Hot Rolled Asphalt and Coated Chippings - Checks and Key Points. Publication reference CC-PAV-04011.
The document was developed to enhance the understanding of the requirements of the specifications with photographs and notes used to emphasise the points being made. The publication of this document has led to further commissions to develop Checks and Key Points documents for other popular materials and processes.
